The first yoga class Beth ever attended was at a local brewery in 2014. She was instantly hooked and quickly found a yoga studio near her home in Northern Virginia to practice at. She owes much of her early years of practice -- and sanity -- to this small studio where they focused on alignment based yoga. With a long commute and job in disaster relief, yoga gave her a way to destress and relax.
After moving back to Georgia, she enrolled in LifePower yoga teacher training to deepen her practice in hopes of one day teaching yoga to others. In the midst of her teacher training journey, she learned and quickly embraced mindfulness, meditation and breathing techniques that complement yoga so beautifully. With her RYT 200-hour yoga certification, she’s excited to share the benefits of yoga with her students through physical practice, breathing techniques and ways to find stillness on and off the mat.
